Paper Formatting Instructions for IVA 06

Important Dates:

June 5th for 1-Page Camera Ready Poster Submissions

June 10th for Camera Ready 12-page Short and 14-page Long Submissions.

Camera-Ready Paper Submission (Full, Short and poster)

Congratulations to all authors whose papers have been accepted for presentation to IVA'06.
The final list of accepted papers can be found under the Program Section.

Camera-ready Papers should be submitted in PDF format via e-mail to iva06@ict.usc.edu, (Please use as subject in your e-mail: 'IVA06 camera-ready paper ' followed by your paper id.)

Please format your paper according to Springer-Verlag's Guidelines (links available at the end of this web page). US authors, please remember to use A4 page size rather than the letter format.

In addition to the camera ready format of your paper, your original sources (LATEX, DOC or RTF) will also be necessary for editing and compilation of the proceedings, as specified by Springer-Verlag on

Authors using Latex or Tex need to send:

* The source files: tex files for the text and ps or eps files for the figures

* Any style files, templates, and special fonts the authors may have used

the final dvi file

Authors not using Latex, please send an rtf or doc file

We would appreciate it if you could compress the files using zip, rar or ace compression.

Your camera-ready papers and the accompanying source files should be submitted by the 5th of June for Posters or by 10th of June for long and short papers. The schedule is a bit tight, but this is necessary in order to ensure that proceedings will be ready by the time the conference begins.

It is essential that your paper be properly formatted and arrive in time. Any papers that do not conform to the guidelines run a risk of not being included in the proceedings.

Authors whose contributions have been accepted for publication will have to sign Springer's copyright form and mail, email with electronic signature (Preferred way) or send it by fax to the organizing committee.
